A colonial variation of the 1842 french bayonet. (Gazette 18 - Article 7)

In the collection world, a bayonet stamped with the naval anchor is always more worthy. When the scabbard has the same issue number that the blade it’s quite better. The specificity for most of the French bayonets before the Model 1866 Chassepot is they had no serial number.
