Picture from the world... (Gazette 12 - Article 3)

Very often when reading a newspaper, a specialized or not magazine, it happens that we are confronted to some funny, odd or eve shocking photos where the bayonet appears to be in good place. These images are not sufficient by themselves to justify writing an article, but it is not a reason not to mention them in a specialized magazine like ours.One of the subjects more shocking for me is the concept of “children soldiers”. What moreover revolting to steal the innocence of these young people, boys or girls, and often enlist them by force within the combat units. We do not have any more a conscription in France, as in most of the Western countries. But this conscription was only for post-teenagers, even adults, not for the children. The above photo, shows two very young girls in the foreground, and other in the backstage, handling an AKM, undoubtedly Soviet with its bayonet, white knots in the hairs, but dressed in cammo uniform. Without going more on and on about it, this photograph lets me a bad taste in my mouth. What about you ? Some other more funny pictures are also presented.
